Rental Agreement
Guests must review and accept this agreement before starting a direct booking payment checkout.
These direct-booking documents are operational templates for Knife Lake Getaway and should be reviewed by the owner and, when appropriate, a qualified professional before broad public launch.
Booking Parties And Stay
The person completing the booking is the primary renter and is responsible for the reservation, all registered guests, visitors, charges, damages, and rule compliance during the stay.
The primary renter must meet the minimum booking age shown on the property listing and must be present during the stay unless Knife Lake Getaway gives written approval.
Only the property, dates, guest count, and terms shown during checkout are included in the reservation.
Payment, Taxes, And Fees
The website calculates nightly rates, cleaning fees, extra guest fees, discounts, taxes, and the final amount due before the guest is sent to Stripe Checkout.
Card entry and payment processing are handled by Stripe. Knife Lake Getaway does not ask guests to enter card numbers directly into this website.
If tax settings or required charges are updated before payment is completed, the checkout amount shown by Stripe controls the amount due for that checkout session.
Cancellation And Non-Refundable Option
The cancellation policy shown during booking applies to the reservation unless Knife Lake Getaway confirms different terms in writing.
If the guest chooses a non-refundable discount, that discount is offered in exchange for accepting stricter cancellation terms.
Early departures, weather, travel delays, or unused nights do not automatically create a refund unless required by law or agreed to by Knife Lake Getaway in writing.
Security Deposit Authorization
Knife Lake Getaway may place a refundable card authorization before arrival or check-in for the security deposit amount shown for the selected property.
A card authorization is a hold, not a normal charge, unless all or part of it is captured for allowed reasons such as damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, rule violations, unpaid charges, or other documented losses.
Card networks and issuing banks control how long holds remain visible. A hold may expire or appear differently on a guest statement depending on the card issuer.
House Rules
Guests must follow the property rules shown on the website, in pre-arrival instructions, and in any posted house guide.
Common rules include no smoking, quiet hours after 10 PM, registered guests only, no unauthorized parties or events, responsible parking, safe fire pit use, trash handling, septic-safe use, and checkout duties.
Guests are responsible for visitors and for preventing unsafe, illegal, disruptive, or damaging activity at the property.
Pets, Service Animals, And Accessibility
Pet permission, pet limits, and any pet-related fees must be confirmed by Knife Lake Getaway before arrival unless a listing says otherwise.
Service animals trained to perform disability-related tasks are handled according to applicable law. Emotional support animals are not service animals under the ADA.
Guests should contact Knife Lake Getaway before booking if they need accessibility information about entrances, sleeping areas, bathrooms, parking, terrain, or other property conditions.
Local Compliance
Guest occupancy, parking, fire, septic, trash, waterfront, quiet-hour, permit, license, and tax requirements may be governed by state, county, township, or other local rules.
Permit or license information will be added to the site and agreement after the owner confirms the exact requirements for the property.
Guests must follow posted or written operational limits that apply to the stay.
